This great Uganda safari itinerary is designed for birding enthusiasts and will take you to some of Uganda’s best birding destinations.
Uganda is home to over 1000 different bird species, so birdwatchers can prepare to see everything from shoebills and marsh flycatchers in the wetlands to African piculets and yellow-throated cuckoos in the grasslands. You will love every minute of this informative and rewarding tour as you travel through a diverse set of environments in the luxury of a private land cruiser and in the company of an experienced guide.
Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda and overnight at Hotel No.5.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by a member of the Vuga Uganda team who will transfer you by road to your lodge.

Day 2
Head North to Murchison Falls National Park –though Ziwa rhino sanctuary.
Budongo Eco - Lodge | Budongo

Day 3
A Full day dedicated to birding in Budongo Forest Reserve in search of its 360 different recorded species. Night at Budongo Eco - Lodge | Budongo Room Type: Cottage Meal Basis: AIS (All-inclusive and Scheduled Safari activities)
Day 4
8-hour private guided trip from Murchison Falls National Park to Fortportal Town.
One night @ Mountains of the Moon Hotel | Fort Portal

Day 5
Drive to Semliki National Park for a full morning of birding
1 night @ Primates Lodge
Room Type: Safari Tent Meal Basis: Full Board
Day 6
Here you will hike and look out for more bird species, and alternatively do chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park.
1 night @ Primates Lodge

Day 7 - 8
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park with your guide.
Go on a game drive and explore the park with a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel..
2 nights @ Primates Lodge

Day 9
Head back east towards Entebbe for one last adventure.
One more night @ Hotel No.5

Day 10
Your last adventure as your driver collects you to take you to Mabamba Swamp.
Drive back to the Airport for your departure flight.
